In February of this year, my wife and I emigrated from Berlin to Australia. First, we travel a bit, go with the flow, and look for some adventure. Then, after the tent gets too small, we settle in a place that we like and look for work (actually, we look for work first). Not knowing the exact steps is part of the fun.
The reason for moving to this marvellous country was thanks to my wife. We started our journey with a mandatory two-week quarantine, due to COVID-19, at the Pullman medi-hotel in Adelaide, SA. Enough time to contemplate and, of course, write something. What exactly, you will read in due time on my blog.°
Despite an increasingly dire situation, we had a comfortable time in our room. The pics below give an impression of our stay at the hotel. Enjoy reading!
View of Adelaide’s CBD, quarantine guide for those without a plan, a tidy room with balcony (yes, we were very lucky), me peaking through the hole of the hotel door, and one of the many dishes we go served on our room.
